Hello!
My name is Henry Cooke, and for the last half decade I've been writing about New Zealand politics from inside Parliament. This is a place for me to keep doing that from the other side of the world.

What’s with the name?
Museum Street is the “street" at the back of Parliament House and Beehive, right beside the press gallery corridor. It’s not really a street - it’s a driveway and carpark - but you put in Museum Street when you want stuff delivered there. It’s also where Parliament’s smokers/vapers usually gather, so is a fantastic place for gossip. I miss it a lot.
Who are you?
My name is Henry Cooke. I covered politics from the press gallery between 2017 and 2022 for Stuff, before moving to London for my OE, where I am currently.
Why?
I have a deep problem.
