If give you 5/10 for the questions about ACT and the Greens. You got the retain existing electorates right and only missed the picking up extras. Probably take a couple off the Maori party result for the same reason! There you go, a C- pass and C's get degrees!
You shouldn't beat yourself up too much, Henry. Especially where NZ 1st are concerned. I think many people (media included) underestimated the antivax/conspiracy cohort making a concerted effort to join a mainstream party and that is exactly what they did, rather than split their votes between the several on offer. Without them, WP would not have got in, I believe, and why we have had some of the seemingly odd policy announcements, such as the "reserve against" letter regarding WHO regulations. Interesting days ahead.
Excellent piece and very instructive. Overall I think you did well especially bearing in mind Harold Macmillan’s reply to what could go wrong for him, “Events, dear boy, events.” I hope this becomes a trend that others follow. This year now must be even harder.
