Yeah I’m in the uk too Henry (have been for a year, so fresh enough to remember the eye watering food prices that roger you everyone you buy food back in NZ!). Couldn’t agree more though, it’s just not going to be drastic enough compared to what needs to happen to food prices. I look at my Aldi receipt each week and thank god the prices are so low - with the costs of everything else around rocketing - then feel a pang every time that kiwis don’t have any option like this and don’t look to have anytime soon. It just sucks there’s no truly budget supermarket full stop.
